WinTV version 6 allows Windows users to watch, pause or record analog or digital TV on their PC screen, in a window or full screen. One of the new features of this application is that it is user modifiable through the use of ‘skins’. Skins allows anyone with Photoshop experience to make changes to the colors and layout of the TV application, thereby customizing the on-screen look.

With the introduction of the new WinTV version 6, Hauppauge is meeting the desire of its end-users for a modifiable user interface software with more simplified application devices. The user can now develop own skins and even change the surface of the application to create a individual “look”.
The predefined standard design doesn’t only contribute to a new appearance of WinTV version 6. Through the new buttons arrangements, version 6 also contributes to an optimal handling of all operations and therefore concise for the user.
