The Personal Video Recorder has been an object of great interest in the broadcasting industry ever since its emergence. At this exhibition, visitors will be introduced to the freshly developed WinTV-PVR-usb where the installation is now a breeze and notebooks users can too benefit from this Hauppauge's PVR technology. Witnessing the MPEG2 hardware encoder in action, the visitors will be able to experience, hands-on, our excitement in bringing the end consumers the unique blend of a traditional television and a video recorder right onto the home or office computing systems. The PCI version, WinTV-PVR-pci was first launched in this region in November 2000.

This sophisticated plug-in card will convert an ordinary computer system into a fully equipped digital TV entertainment centre. Besides displaying and recording in MPEG2 quality video, this card is also able to download unfiltered data stream at amazing speed of more than 40Mbits a second!
