REFLECTION TIME- The industry's view of 2003- and 2004
"This is a year "re-focusing" for Hauppauge. The IT business has been rough for the last couple of years, but 2003 seems like a turning point for most sectors of our business. Hauppauge, being a chief advocate for traditional TV entertainment and PC convergence, seeks to improve the quality of entertainment in living rooms. We launched the MediaMVP (Music, Video and pictures) to give users the option to enjoy PC entertainment in the comfort of their living rooms. With the MediaMVP, you can browse your PC for movies, music and pictures and watch them while seated with your loved ones on your sofa. In 2004, hopefully you will get to watch more entertaining programmes, enjoy TV with your families and friends with MediaMVP. If we have more of these and less of TV news of "instability", we should all brace for a bumper year in 2004."
