WinTV-PVR-USB2 features

• Watch, Pause and Record TV in the Media Center application in Vista or Windows XP MCE. Compatible with either laptop or desktop PCs. WinTV-PVR-USB2 has a built-in analogue TV tuner and an FM radio receiver.
• No need to open your PC: just plug into a USB port. Works best with USB 2.0, but will also work with USB 1.1
• Includes a Media Center remote control transmitter and receiver. The Media Center receiver conveniently plugs into a USB port. The Media Center remote will control Media Center media such as music, digital pictures plus TV.
• Listen to FM radio with Media Center.
• Record your TV shows to disk using the high quality built-in hardware MPEG-2 encoder. While recording, the WinTV-PVR-USB2’s hardware MPEG encoder does all the work so your PC continues to run at full speed! Uses from 1-2 Gigabytes per hour of recorded video.

With WinTV-PVR-USB2 MC-Kit and Microsoft’s Windows Media Center, you can Watch, Record and Pause live TV on your PC or laptop screen. Connect WinTV-PVR-USB2 to a TV aerial, and you can watch and record your favorite TV shows to your hard disk using WinTV-PVR-USB2’s built-in hardware MPEG recorder. Plus listen to FM radio while you work, or pause live TV and make your own instant replay!

Create your own Digital Video Recorder! The WinTV-PVR-USB2 turns your PC or laptop into a digital video recorder. Record TV programs to disk, play them back to your PC screen. With Media Center’s four quality settings, you decide how much hard disk space your videos will consume. At the best quality setting, a typical one hour. TV show will take 2 Gigabytes of hard disk space. The WinTV-PVR-USB2 uses a built-in hardware MPEG-2 encoder, so you don’t slow down your PC while you record.

WinTV-PVR-USB2 is easy to install. Just plug it into your PC or laptops USB port, plug in the USB remote control, connect your TV antenna or set top box, load the drivers from our installation CD. Run Media Center and start watching TV, listen to FM radio and recording your TV shows to disk!

• To use the WinTV-PVR-USB2 MC-Kit for TV with the Windows XP Media Center application a Media Center certified DVD or MPEG-2 software decoder is required. If you are building a Media Center PC, refer Microsoft's web site for a list of Media Center certified DVD decoders.
• TV reception requires an antenna or cable TV connection.
